I was looking around the Harbor Freight Tools website and came across something that looked familiar http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=95432 BavAuto has the same kit, double the price from HF. This comparison is even more sweet if you have a HF nearby and just buy it in the store as opposed to having it shipped to you. I can't link the original BavAuto page, but you can search ST 9007, it's $19.95 + S&H meanwhile HF is $6.99 + S&H (unless you purchase in stores) | | | 06-26-2007, 06:14 PM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Picayune,MS Posts: 19 | I'm not sure about the BavAuto set. I just sent the Habor Freight set back for a refund. The "set" came in a box slightly larger than a cigarette pack. They were only 6 inches long and about an inch wide. Not sure how you could get any kind of leverage will using them. Plus they were made of cheap plastic with sharp edges. I guess I'm trying to say, don't waste your time. I'm going to order the Bav set and let you know how thay are. | | | 06-26-2007, 06:41 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 33 | I ordered the bavauto set last week, with some other things. The tool set is back ordered for another week im guessing, so when I get it I'll let you guys know. Anyway, I ordered the M-Tech moldings and was able to pull my stock ones out with my hands. No tools necessary and no scratches. | | | 06-26-2007, 07:26 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | I tried ordering the set from harbor freight twice and have been refunded, it's getting pretty disgusting actually. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts .
