Default Transmitter ID

We bought a 1995 318Ti for my son to drive next year when He gets his license, We bought the car with no Remotes, how do I find the FCC number so I can get replacement remotes on E-bay?

You just need to buy one of the 3 button rectangular remotes. After 96 they switched to a more rounded 2 button remote.

Here is the DIY for programming the remotes. Check out post #5 for some FCC numbers.

it might also be possible that it doesn't have an alarm, is there a red LED next to the 12v socket?

Yes there is a red LED by the 12v socket and there are power actuators in the doors but no lock / unlock button inside.

you've got one then, the 95 ti's didn't come with power lock buttons, you push the knob down to lock all the doors and pull the handle to unlock all the doors, not sure why they did it like that but oh well
