Right, mine is obd1, but in the case of obd2 where 2 sensors are used you'd retain both sensors and prevent CEL from coming on, even with aftermarket cat. How are we not on the same page here?

the aftermarket cats don't filter as much as the stock one, so the second sensor is reading that the cat is bad even when it's not
