Default WTB: 318ti w/ 5sp + Cali top

Looking to purchase 318ti in a good mechanical shape. Regular wear and tear is expected but nothing major. Below 200K miles. No rust. Clear title.

MUST HAVE: 5 speed transmission
PREFERRED: Active package, black interior.

My budget is $4K, negotiable.

Vlad

Yea, I am not in a hurry myself. I drove my cousins '93 325i and not sure if I liked it that much. It's kinda small... (I had '95 Nissan Maxima before).

I was surprised how much room was in the ti. So far I've used the back seats for passengers once, and it was one kid, who was small. I think of the ti more like a 2 seater with a large trunk. I like the size of it

that's pretty much how i use mine. it was great with a dog because i could just put the seats down and she had the run of the land. my 6'3" brother had some trouble getting comfortable back there though...

hahaha, I'm 6'6" I was like, good thing I'm going to be driving 100% of the time I was also surprised how much room was up front once you push the seats back and recline a little I'm thinking about fabricating an arm rest though, tired of my right arm sitting in my lap.
Ladzio lemme know if you want to take a look at my car/get jealous

Actually this is why I like ti, because you can drop down back seats and have one large trunk and have two people sitting comfortable in the front.

I decided to dump Cali top idea and go with regular sunroof. So far no good deal came up in my area. I decided to call a guy I know who is a used car dealer and see if he can snatch nice ti for me somewhere at the auction.

I know that buying blind this way I will not know what issues car might have, but considering that most of ti"s are in their 100K major TLC would be required anyways, plus I will save some good money by going through him.
