Just need the hardware now. That's a trip to home repo for the aluminum stock, and I think I have the hardware sitting around! __________________ No more ti. | | | 08-12-2010, 01:04 AM | #530 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Sydney, Australia Posts: 593 | Quote: Originally Posted by J!m Tires DO expire. My ti had an incident with an old tire prior to my ownership and the carnage from the tire coming apart was pretty signifigant. The dates on the other tires when I got it were 3-7-9-9 years old. On my other car, I had some 4 year old (old stock) BFG's that all seperated even though they looked good. You can get away with it if you are aware of the age and check the tires regularly for bumps, bulges, and cracks. It's really not worth the risk though. __________________ No more ti. | | | 08-12-2010, 01:34 AM | #532 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Location: Sydney, Australia Posts: 593 | Quote: Originally Posted by familytruckster I wouldn't trust anything over 3-4 years. But who knows, the quality of track tires is totally different. | | | 08-12-2010, 03:40 AM | #533 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: Brazil Posts: 21 | Good evening everyone Today I changed the tires to Michelin 195x60x15 88H XH-AS Price R$ 310.00 (U$ 177.00). Still have not fine tuned it yet due to wasteing 8 hours on a issue with my bench flasher but The code is "killer" much better of boost power and when the turbo spools it hits so hard the clutch replacement is scheduled for next weekend but might happen this Sunday. When I bought my ti fogs were not installed, but po tossed most of a set in the back. Found the little brackets to complete the install at Pelican. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
