Hi everyone! I am a "new" 318Ti owner, I bought a 97 on Friday but sadly didn't get one full day of driving in before the heater hose broke. I have a new one on order and should be here soon. However, I love the car. Spent the weekend getting her all cleaned up and fixing a few little things. I am noticing some things missing from the engine compartment and some connections that are not connected to anything so I will be posting some pictures in the next few days for help on those issues. I have already learned a lot just going through and reading posts. I am excited to add my own touch to this BMW and make some new friends! Sorry everyone, realized I put this in the wrong place. Just saw the intro section, please forgive me! The ti will give you tons of fun, with some mishaps along the way but it's worth it. __________________ McLaren F1 - BMW M Power S70/2 | | | 01-18-2011, 04:37 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 255 | Greetings, Did "ya" happen to grab that Silver Automatic I noticed up for sale in Fort Collins last week? Looks like it was a very neglected car when I saw it and with a lot of love she could be a nice daily driver for you. __________________ (00=[][]=00) _______________ ________ Steve Still looking for a monthy driver 1988 M3 parked 1967 2000cs parked Last edited by Altitude; 01-22-2011 at 07:13 PM. | | | 01-18-2011, 06:36 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Fiji Posts: 169 | Welcome | | | 01-18-2011, 06:08 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2010 Location: Fürth, Bavaria, Germany Posts: 156 | welcome to the jungle, uuups board | | | 01-22-2011, 05:35 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: jersey Posts: 10 | welcome aboard! | | | 01-22-2011, 06:11 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | welcome ! | | | 01-22-2011, 09:46 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Welcome. Looks like you are a DIY person, glad to see you are noticing thing under the hood. A few extra harnesses are there for different options but you still should go through them to ensure your previous owner didn't "Jerry Rig" some stuff. I like owners that look things over and ask question when things don't look right. Hope we can help you on here. I had my ti for just over a month now and I couln't be happier with it. I've done some work on it myself and have enjoyed learning things in the process. Folks on this site are very helpful and friendly. | | | 01-22-2011, 11:37 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: Greeley, CO Posts: 44 | Thanks for the warm welcome. I am a do it yourself kind of gal and have some great plans for the ti. I have ordered my Bentley and am getting to know my local BMW dealership mechanics. Thanks again! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
