Not sure the alpina rims will go so well on a compact as they do on other bmw. However some nice sunflower rims or m3 motorsport type will do the job. BTW what size tyres do you run on yours ive 225/50/16s Dunlop all aroud and seem a little to big. | | | 06-21-2012, 07:22 PM | #321 | Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: North London ENGLAND Posts: 57 | Thats the same size tyers I got on mine, 225/50/16, they seem alright for me for comfot TBH, I use to run 17 inch on one of my old E30's and low profile tyers and it use to pick up every bump in the road and the roads around my way are crap and we have a lot of speed humps so with the 17's there was no give, but with these 225's it aint bad speicaily with me with a bad back and getting old I like a bit more comfat but thats not saying if found some 18" M3 wheels going cheap it would'nt stop me from putting them on sod comfat then | | | 06-21-2012, 09:07 PM | #322 | Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: North London ENGLAND Posts: 57 | [QUOTE=KillBilly;332653]Not sure the alpina rims will go so well on a compact as they do on other bmw. I found some pics of compacts with Alpinas on I think they suit them OK TBH | | | 06-23-2012, 09:49 AM | #323 | Member Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: Manchester UK Posts: 36 | Still not over keen on them Alpinas allthough they suit the e30 to a tee. These are more my liking. | | | 06-23-2012, 03:51 PM | #324 | Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: North London ENGLAND Posts: 57 | I like those also, to me for some reason they look better on the silver one than the other one, then again I dont like green cars, even though ours looks greenish sometimes LoL, I mean real green coloured cars also like these on them | | | 07-04-2012, 11:26 AM | #325 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Wales,UK Posts: 8 | Uk newbie says hi Hi all new owner of 318ti metallic avus m sport pack , 57000 fsh and just father r and son owners £800 !, well chuffed.
