Swapped owners, do you rebadge? For all you swapped Ti owners, do you rebadge the trunk? Just a general question. Thanks in advance. __________________ "Never trust a big butt and a smile" 97- 328Ti (daily) 01- S2K (auto-x, cruiser) 96- JDM Integra SiR-G turbo (1/4 mile, auto-x, road course, show) | | | 03-14-2011, 06:30 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: aNYthing Posts: 160 | I'm thinking about it when i repaint but I occasionally wonder how clean it would look with it. __________________ for sale ~ '95 helrot.. I think it's more fun to let 'em wonder though. | | | 03-14-2011, 08:32 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Mine says 328ti. I had 328tii but that took too much explaining. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-14-2011, 08:39 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | I did a turbo and stroke to 2.1L but left the 318 badges. I kinda want to add the "328". People have no idea what's under the hood. But that is also a good thing as well. But it is "special". Without it, people assume its just a mildly-dropped, stock 318ti. __________________ "Never trust a big butt and a smile" 97- 328Ti (daily) 01- S2K (auto-x, cruiser) 96- JDM Integra SiR-G turbo (1/4 mile, auto-x, road course, show) Last edited by jae_rex; 03-14-2011 at 10:21 PM. I guess people dont really care about it, even though it's relatively rare. __________________ "Never trust a big butt and a smile" 97- 328Ti (daily) 01- S2K (auto-x, cruiser) 96- JDM Integra SiR-G turbo (1/4 mile, auto-x, road course, show) Last edited by jae_rex; 03-30-2011 at 08:24 PM.
