Exclamation never make bids while talking on the phone

there's 2 minutes left on a bid. my wife calls. the current bid is at $35. i told myself i won't go over $45. so i bid 36, then 37, 38, 39, i say screw it i put in $46 as my max bid. at least i thought i did. i ended up putting $4,655 as my max bid with seconds left to spare . i cuss out my wife cause i'm a dummy. needless to say i won the item at $62.00

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=8017445044

sooooo. i need some base plates, a motor and a mirror. where is the best place to find these? do i need anything else?

i'm so pissed

lol ... at least someone else didn't slip and put in a high amount

looking at the prices, you don't want to do it from the dealer: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...68&hg=51&fg=10

You can resuse the motor in your current mirror as far as I know. I have seen only the glass for sale.....somewhere online, i'll see if I can find a link. As far as the base......I have no idea. Wish I could help you more.

this really sucks. i didn't want to pay that much for these. i would have done $46 but i didn't want to win at this price. i could've bought reps for $120. oh well, hopefully i can find a mirror and the bases for under 100 bucks or so. if i can use my exsisting motor that that will help my cause. a link would be cool. thanks fellas

worse comes to worse, put 'em back on ebay and get the $45 or so dollars and then buy what you want.

One thing that might be cool is if a euro (wideangle) mirror is available for the driver's side. I know they're available for the standard mirrors, but it would be extra points on the M3 type.

Just pretend you "dropped" a $20 out of your wallet when you were paying for something else. I had to do that once when I "accidently" stopped by a strip club with friends.

EDIT: I'm not married, but I got grilled by the girl.

i like this description on that diagram: "MIRROR GLAS HEATED (CO-DRIVERS SIDE)" ... when the hell did it become the co-driver's side? pretty soon they'll be calling the back seat the "rear driver's seat." sheesh ...

Maybe he did SCCA Rally?

A lot of CCA driving schools also have instructors that will sit-in with you.

Was that for the whole assembly or just the glass portion?
