Default FOR SALE

I'm selling a 1995 BMW 318ti, 5 speed manual transmission, 4 cylinder club sport engine 164,000 miles. MD inspected Oct 08 and emissions Apr 09. AM/FM/CD, AC, cloth seats in good shape. New paint job (Cosmo black) Oct 08. NEW INTERIOR/EXTERIOR ITEMS: HID headlights, clear corners, clear side signals, new grill, microfilters, new kumho tires, rear/front brake pads, rotors, front end alignment, floor mats, front badge, headliner, door panels, inside B-pillars, window guides, shock plates, front/rear shock, windshield wipers, plugs, emerg and gear shift boots, belts/hoses, some molding and trim, keyless entry. I have put $8500 in car since I purchased in Oct 09. Bought as a fixer up/commuter, however, traffic in DC/Metropolitan area, is not fun driving manual especially with bad left knee. I have all receipts for work done on car. New fog lights are included but not hooked up. Currently driving car daily 80 miles round trip. Selling car for $5,000. Car is great car, runs good, looks awesome.

Your car is not a Club Sport. True, if it's a 1995 model, it has the same engine as the Club Sport, but that's because all 95's had the same M42 engine.

Looks like a nice specimen though! Good luck on the sale!

maybe he replaced it with an M42 from a CS? In any case there is nothing different about that motor.

True - there was a complete motor swap - original motor was blown, switched to club sport.

So you swapped from an M42 to an M42. :-) Rather than mentioning "club sport," you should include the mileage on the old engine when it blew and the mileage on the "new" engine when it was swapped in.

Yes this was a complete motor swap from a wrecked 1995 Clubsport. It doesn't have the 3.45 lsd though.
One of the things she missed was it has a short throw shifter well shorter from a M3
