If I do, how do switch it around, so that it's automatically off when I start the car, and turns on when I hit the switch. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. There is a thread about ASC removal and how to bypass/trick the computer: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=742586 __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 05-30-2009, 03:59 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Much thanks. I wouldn't do it and then sell the car because the person who ends up with it might not be that experienced of a driver and could end up in a bad situation. BMW put the system in to aid drivers and even though you feel comfortable disabling it the next person might not. Just a thought. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 05-30-2009, 04:10 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | I probably won't even need to sell the ti. Gonna go in and see if I can get a loan. Soon me and james might have something more in common __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. I removed the extra TB and put the non-ASC boot on my m52.... but if you plan to sell it and just want to disable it, you can use my options listed above. I can't see the need in a shorter cable though, since it is a seperate cable that controls ASC. __________________ 11/97 Base 328Ti | | | 06-02-2009, 08:13 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | are you wanting to get a new motor or new car?? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | m44 head removal | cager169 | Engine | 6 | 04-25-2013 10:57 PM | amp removal | MG_NUT | Electrical | 2 | 12-31-2007 02:07 AM | Radio Removal | Micaoct | Interior and ICE | 2 | 05-08-2007 07:52 AM | AC removal? | AlaskaBlue | HVAC | 25 | 01-03-2006 01:56 AM | ASC Removal | GDB | Air Filters/Intakes | 6 | 10-29-2004 06:16 PM | |
