Well, How much do you pay for your car's insurance? Age would also help to, as well as car model and company. Thanks! | | | 08-08-2007, 12:12 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: The Netherlands Posts: 33 | I've got a '96 318 TI, im 23, and here in Holland I pay 55 euro a month (75 US dollars). Ive got 3 claim-free years (47,5 % discount) and an extra 34% discount through my employer, who arranged that for every colleague. I am insured for just about everything, except when i cause damage to my own car. Its also insured against theft. | | | 08-08-2007, 01:20 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Glasgow, Scotland Posts: 45 | I own the white 316i in my sig. So, 800$/year with Statefarm, Guess I'll have to double that if I were to go with a 318ti of my flavour considering my age. 1600$ for insurance, ouch. | | | 08-08-2007, 10:46 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | 26, no accidents. Allstate @ $101 /month. I live in a major Metropolitan area too, so I don't think that helps. | | | 08-08-2007, 10:52 PM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Treharris, Mid-Glam. Rates vary widely depending on the area, your age, company, and the equipment on the car. In certain areas of Florida rates are very high due to car theft. When I lived in downtown Orlando I was paying almost 4 times what I pay right now. I live 5 miles from my old house. But my rate won't tell you anything because of difference in age, home ownership, married, etc... | | | 08-08-2007, 11:20 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: Marion, IA Posts: 388 | I think I pay $20 a month for liability only (no collision or comprehensive). Married, over 25 and in a cheap state for insurance. Full coverage would be around $40 to $50 a month. | | | 08-08-2007, 11:44 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Clearwater, Florida Posts: 153 | Heh, I plan on calling them soon once I have a car in hand, or close... Right now I'm just trying to find out if I should get a 318/325, or maybe a more teen associated car, (not a Honda, please noooooooo). like a Focus/Neon.. :-) Plus it's fun to find out how much insurance costs around teh globe. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
