Well not really BUT, my parents decided to give me my Bday gift a little early. But i had told my parents that whatever i got for my Bday i was going to save up for my suspension upgrade. My dad had asked me how much the springs costed and i said around $200 bucks. So my mom gave me clothes and a new chain cuz my other one was getting old. And my dad gave me $225 dollars which will cover the springs. Now i just gotta come up money for the shocks. Watch out guys cuz Hugo is gonna drop! | | | 06-15-2007, 03:00 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Springs are cheap. You should have hit them up for the struts. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 06-15-2007, 03:03 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Springs are cheap. Look at my avatar and other pics I post around or in the gallery possibly. | | | 06-16-2007, 05:04 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | H&R sports w/ Bilstein it is. Can you provide me with a link or the exact name of the bilstein shock/strut/absorber (whatever that thing is called) i need or should go for cuz they have different ones. I was told that i might need to get something plates and a camber kit i think it was? | | | 06-16-2007, 05:14 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | Just look for Bilstein Sports for the 318ti and your good. You don't need camber plates on a sport setup, but you need new rear shock mounts. | | | 06-16-2007, 05:52 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Like about how many percent more will my thread wear, wear down than normal? | | | 06-16-2007, 09:45 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | | | | 06-16-2007, 03:09 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Detroit, MI Posts: 585 | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
