I think the key isn't so much the grounding kit as what you ground. I've gotten some high strung race motors to run better at rev''s by tying the ground of various metal parts of the engine. Example: Run a ground from the head to the block, tie it directly to the ground to the battery negative. basically your providing a solid ground for the spark plugs. I've been randomly checking engines and I've found the cylinder head to block is not a solid electrical connection especially if rebuilt with metal gaskets, My Ohm meter gets resistance between the battery - and the cyl head. Also run a ground from the Alternator housing to the same ground block. Seems to help the charging voltage stabilize. My TI seems to have very good grounding, BMW did a lot of this type of grounding in the stock harness. But I still like the head to block ground use two clean surfaces a star washer and dielectric grease to seal the contact area. No need to buy a fancy kit though...
