So after a few months of tinkering and planning to bring the ti back to tip top shape I have had the revelation that I do not possess the time or energy right now to pull this off. From no job to 2 jobs my priorities have shifted dramatically. So I offer to you my 95 ti. Solid car but previous owner was a crack head so everything he touched is ****. Clock reads 308K but how many of those miles are on this engine are a mystery to me. Car starts every time and I drive it 45 miles round trip to work everyday. Pulls in 28MPG and feels solid mechanically with tight shifts and lots of new parts. Engine has new alternator and belts, and according to PO had the timing chain tensioner and water pump done recently. Does not leak any fluids or burn oil. New sunroof motor and a bunch of other stuff I can not remember. I got out the electrical gremlins, deloused it, and did what I could but here is the definitive list of what needs to be done.
Hood: current one has a dent and hood struts are MIA
Interior: 328i Sedan seats up front with nothing in the rear. PO pulled the seats with out disconnecting the battery so airbag light is on. Headliner is held in with thumbtacks, 1 rear oh **** handle is missing, and both door cards are shot.
Stereo: fixed all the wiring and got the CD player working, but its old and the rear speakers are fried
Windshield: Has a crack running up the drivers side. Got a quote of $258 to replace it
Wheels tires: Wheels are staggered DS2 M3 wheels in almost perfectcondition with almost new rear tires, front tires are however are incorrect size and almost done.
Front Brakes: Needs rotors/pads/ABS sensors to bring it back to OEM spec. I priced this out at $125 from autohausaz.com
Suspension: This need a top to bottom rebuild. PO cut the springs and the shocks feel like they have given up the fight. I was going to do all bushings and a vogtland cup kit for $1000.
DS Window: motor is slowly crip walking to its grave. regulator is fine as I have checked it out top to bottom, motor sometimes pushes it right up. Other times it skips as it appears the drive gear is stripped.
Rear hatch struts are still there but toast
Windshield wiper spray motor is cooked as well. This is a $60 replacement part if you want to be able to wash your windows.
Body: 6 inch crease behind the drivers door, paint isn't cracked and it is not very deep. 3 rust spots on the rear wheel wells that are going to need attention. There is still metal there, mostly surface rust, and it should be fine with an orbital sander and some bondo.
I bought this without looking it over well since it was 106 degrees out that day and I had just driven 2.5 hours to buy it. My stupidity and lack of knowledge about BMW's at the time are your gain. Great platform for a track car or a project you can drive while working on.
$1500.00
Heading off to work now so best bet is to text or email me directly if your interested.
