I live in Huntsville, Alabama and I could be interested in your block. Does it include the crankshaft and rods/pistons? Thanks, Mark | | | 06-06-2009, 04:48 AM | #37 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: louisiana Posts: 188 | the block includes all internals. Head was cracked due to water pump failure by previous owner. It still has a few other things on it also like timing chain and such. Would take $140 if you pick it up or we could find a way to freight it there. I'm near Monroe, la about 2 hours from Jackson, ms. Will email pics if you pm me your email. Thanks | | | 06-06-2009, 02:17 PM | #38 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Huntsville, AL Posts: 5 | block Do you ever have reason/occasion to drive over to Jackson? I will be driving to Tuscaloosa from time to time with my daughter going to school there. I definitely would like to buy it from you. Also, I lost the bubble on your original post - verifying, it is a M44 block, right? And, do you have any front end body parts to sell, or if you could help locate some in your area, the idea of making a trip there would be a slam dunk for me Thanks, Mark | | | 06-06-2009, 04:43 PM | #39 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: louisiana Posts: 188 | it is an m44 block. I don't really have any front end parts and bmw parts are hard to come by in my area. I might could drive to Jackson one day if you cover say $20 in gas. It will be very hard to tranfer a block from one vehicle to the other. It's extremely heavy. | | | 06-06-2009, 05:11 PM | #40 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Huntsville, AL Posts: 5 | I want to buy it Hi, I want to buy the block. Let's take this off line to spare others the details.
