Just a little on the rears. My car sits lower than most because the springs are H&R Race off of a Z3 roadster. You might be able to get away without rolling if your car isn't too low. BTW, if anyone here decides to use e39 wheels you have to buy hubcentric reducer rings since the centerbore on the e39 is larger. Also note that I'm running 215/40/17's all the way around.

Are style 5s from an e39 or e34? I plan to pick up a coil over set and ditch my fk automotive springs at some point....possibly this summer as well.

I know they came on the e34's but I'm not sure if they continued to use them on e39's. I don't think they did. I'm also not sure what the centerbore is on the e34's. The rings are only like 15 bucks, so it shouldn't be a problem either way.

Style 5s are a long-lived basketweave design from way back when on e28/e30/e24/e23.

Style 5s, specifically the 2-piece 17inch BBS-look alike ones that everyone goes goo-goo-ga-ga over, are primarily an e39 wheel. Most are found in 17x8, but there are also staggered setups in 17x9 as well as ultra-rare 18s that many of my fellow e30 m3 comrades run.

I voted the six spokes, but I would prolly just go w/ the lighter wheel.

Unfortunately im throwing the kosei/style 5 ideas to the side and grabbing my old rims, but in 18s this time. Im getting a deal on 4+tires for 500 shipped. Not too bad i guess, but they will be heavier.

This is the ones ill be getting again....

I voted six spoke but I also like the mesh. But I think the mesh bring an older look to it where the six spoke dont.

Kosei look too rice for me, and would rather roll on 15" steelies. If I was in the market for new wheels I'd rock the style 5's or 42's. They both have a timeless design and will look sick on your ti.

I'd probably trade these for a set of style 5's if I had the chance, but ultimately I'd like to have both sets and alternate between the two. Jon Sibal has some sexy BBS's on his M3:
I love that car, that man is my hero. That picture is what made me vote style 5s. Those rims arnt style 5s but BBS rims + BMW = Perfection. Sibals rims must have cost a fortune considering that they are mag racing rims.
