a '96 318ti..

i'm tired of driving my moms focus and my saturn.. i seen this 318ti and fell for the price.. i have no knowledge of how much it would cost to fix the headliner, the window and recharging the air conditioner.. i mean for 2500 w/128k miles.. could i go wrong? *all in the pursuit of happiness*

well 3 things i see wrong with the car. He doesnt have a wheel you can see on the passenger side rear, if its just a tire and not the rim it will cost around $200 to replace. But changing 1 tire is never smart so a set of new ones will cost around $800. The recharge you never know because it could not help and the compressor is out. The window issue, theres a lot of Tis with this problem and their pretty pricey. To fix it you have to take it to a mechanic or dealer and it will cost around $600 to fix. If this car has NO major mechanical problems(aka motor and tranny the autos die fast) then the $1500 you'll invest in it is not a problem.

Go for it....hoping all is well mechanically with engine all else is cosmetic! Im sure you can get parts you need used for a decent price!

thanks for the encouragement and such but I think I'll let the deal go.. I save up more money for a better car.. plus I wanted the exterior to be black anyway..
so next summer around this time I shall be have my ti..

very fixable. you can find a rim or even a set for pretty cheap and you can get 4 new tires for like 350 bucks
