I actually just won the ti i was bidding on on ebay. Its my first BMW. I know it has high mileage, but i went out on a limb and bid anyways. It looks great, runs "good" and its manual and i'm paying under $2k for it. That was my buying criteria.

The ebay number is 290288012635 if youd like to check it out.

the vin is wbacg7322tas96276

I need to find the vin posting page to get it deciphered for me. Looking for it now.

high mileage isn't a big deal on these cars as long as they were well maintained, here's the page: http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18444

its a really good buy. i am buying a 98 that is smashed up in the front and rear pretty badly only because i need a door. the parts from these cars are worth alot, so even if the motor would go bad, its worth alot..

also, if you need parts, i am parting out a 98, so alot should fit..
