Default rust on my car!

My car is getting rusty in the engine department and i am worrying.
Could anybody give me some good suggestion on how to get rid of those
annoying rust? I have heard that some can not get rid of them but
will prevent them? Is that true? If it's true, how do i get the rust
off?

Thanks a lot.

I assume you're talking about the sheet metal in the engine bay and not parts of the engine..
The only way to get rust off is to sand/grind it off, then repaint. The sooner you do this the better, as the rust will continue to spread. If the rust is bad enough to go through the metal, people usually cut new metal, spot weld in place, weld all around the patch, then sand and paint.
