wow, nice lots of replies.

I see we have a diverse group here of macs and pcs.

One thing I really like, is how easy it is to video chat, screen share, and file swap. My aunt is totally clueless and I was able to send her a file, connect to her computer, put it in the right spot, and open it, showing her how to use it in a matter of about two minutes.

Amazing. Totally beats phone support

Not saying that it's not possible on a PC, but on a Mac it's much easier and more convenient.

I have had much better luck with Macs than PCs when setting up such things. To save time, I will often first set up the Mac to confirm I have been given all the required details, and then go at it on the PC. For example, I recently had to get this Vista-running notebook on to a company VPN. That took something like your canonical two minutes on my seven year old Pismo running Panther (OSX 10.3). It then took me over an hour to convince Vista to repeat the performance. I can't remember the niggling snags other than they demonstrated some parts of Vista are still at the beta test stage (and that may be generous).
