Looking for a stock air box and anything else you might have. The original parts left stop right after the intake cross-over tube (above the fan shroud), and pick up again just before the throttle body. The dreaded previous owner syndrome. Thanks! Ordered one off Ebay, and I'm still missing a piece. I'm having a hard time figuring it out from photos online - can anyone tell me where I can ge the piece that goes from the 4-bolt opening on the picture below to the MAF housing? | | | 11-01-2017, 10:34 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Quote: Originally Posted by apexspeedtech I'm in the same boat - got a 1996 but I can't pass California Smog without the stock airbox. That is from a 95 and is for an M42 that uses an AFM instead of a MAF. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 11-01-2017, 04:18 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Sep 2017 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 50 | eBay listing said 1996-1999 318ti..... bastards! | | | 11-01-2017, 10:31 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2017 Location: Colorado Posts: 8 | I just confirmed this as well. I have a '98, and I found that the '98 Z3 1.9L air box shares the same part number. I found one on ebay and it fit! I researched the part numbers at www.realoem.com. Very handy website. | | | 02-02-2018, 07:11 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2014 Location: Oregon Posts: 22 | Did both of you find one? | | | 02-03-2018, 05:58 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Sep 2017 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 50 | paid too much on ebay but yeah. | | | 02-03-2018, 04:27 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Quote: Originally Posted by apexspeedtech paid too much on ebay but yeah. | I have one here I would have sold you for $40 shipped=( __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
