The rear has a metric ton of toe. Camber wise the rear seems like it is 3 or 4 degrees.

I found a set of latches in decent shape and cleaned them up as best as I could.

Now I can finish assembling the drivers side door. The passenger side needs to be resprayed so it will probably stay apart this far.

I removed the clips from my old inner window seal and installed them on the new one as they are NLA

Installed the door card next. Really happy with how it came together. I just need to find my mirror switch and order new mirror covers.

I also got a blower motor cover and removed the insulation. I will be smoothing it out and modifying it a bit as well.

Finally had my new bumper trim so I threw it on to get an idea of how the rear will look when "finished"

Test fit my new carpets. I should be able to start on the false floor frame shortly*

I've been meaning to update this but photobucket is blocked at work.

I had a blockoff plate cut at work to fill the hole in the trunk from the spare tire (Don't mind the missing nut. The spare mechanism used to have a push pin in that spot. I have since ordered and installed a new nut, as well as siliconed the plate in place.)

I recleaned the floor boards and removed the handbrake. The car lays frame when aired out and the whole system ( besides the handle itself) was missing from the car ever since I bought it. I will make a blockoff plate for the console until I can make a locking hydraulic handbrake that appears original

Next up I ended up deciding what radiator I would run. I opted for the e36 radiator made by CSF. It will require some measuring to see what hoses work and such. The radiator is gorgeous and the quality is amazing.

I picked up some super rad Reboot Engineering radiator stays to rid of the flimsy, tricky, and ugly OE stays.

I also picked up new rubber isolators and 6 cylinder radiator brackets from the dealer.

Today I threw it in the car to mock it up and have it in place to extend the aux fan temp switch wiring perfectly.

I also finally found the part number for the rear splash guard nuts and threw them on temporarily.

The last thing I have been working on is finding horns that sound good and aren't obnoxious. Everyone seems to use Hella Supertones and I just hate the sound of them. I opted for Hella Sharptones. Unfortunately they're ugly as sin when you buy them but I fixed that quickly.

I was told that the hardware is garbage and corrodes quickly so the obvious choice was to replace them with stainless socket head hardware.

That brings us up to speed. I have a package enroute from Germany and some other little things here and there, so updates should be coming more frequently=)

That's not even funny!!

Photobucket is a pain, I haven't gotten the third party icon for my pics so far but I think its because I haven't signed in since the update, and as a result haven't accept their new "user policy"??

I just created a imgur account and started using that instead. What a pain.

The blocking software at work isn't working today so I can now update this.

I threw in my OEM Bosch Projectors to get ready for my wiring simplification/extension.

I also bit the bullet and ordered my Driveshaft Specialist of Texas rebuilt driveshaft.

I saw a guy had modified a set of jack pads to keep them from falling out so I had to do it as well.

I just drilled and tapped them in the center for an m8x1.25 countersunk bolt. It wasn't too bad of a process. Now when the pad is inserted into the rocker, you install the bolt and the clips cannot move inward enough to pop out.

Another new thing is that I sold my 1996 328iS. This meant that I had my late bumper Racing Dynamics list sitting around with no use. Out of sheer luck a guy contacted me asking if the lips differed between late and early bumpers. He just purchased one that happened to be for an early bumper, but he needed a late one. We set up the trade and he so kindly had his shipped to me first so that I could show the differences between the two. I was super stoked to have this opportunity and now we both have the lips that we want.

Another new thing is that since the car lays frame when aired out, the handbrake is somewhat unnecessary and it would look better without one in the console. I made a template for the hole and just need to sacrifice another console to make the filler piece.

The last thing is that I just picked up another compact to drift once I finish this one. I already gutted it of most of the interior to sell off to pay for the chassis (let me know if you need anything). I also took the wheels off as I already have a set of rollers and the tires on it are nice enough to sell. It should be plenty fun once I get around to it. The M44 will stay in until it blows up.

Happy Halloween
