Why you might ask? And the answer is because of the picture enclosed. I could not pass a great deal on a brand spanking new '07 ///M Roadster that was left at the dealer, let me just add that it almost cost me the same as a 135i and I hope that I made the right choice!! I went to my local dealer last night to check on the status of the 1 series and no clear answer was given to me. On the process I walked by an Imola Red ///M Roadster and next thing you know I'm out for a test drive (just for kicks!), my good friend and sales advisor from ASSAEL BMW tells me, lets run some number just for kicks. 2 hours went by and I came out with this baby, good luck to everyone with the 1 series!!! | | | 03-16-2008, 01:07 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I thought BMW was running some kind of special on M Roadsters and Coupes? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-16-2008, 01:10 AM | #3 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti I thought BMW was running some kind of special on M Roadsters and Coupes? | They do if you want to lease, it's like $549 for an M Coupe and $569 for the M Roadster. I actually purchased the car and the price was more than 20% off from MSRP. | | | 03-16-2008, 01:12 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Cool! First gen of any car can be a crap shoot. The Roadster has a proven record. Especially with the 20 off MSRP. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-16-2008, 01:24 AM | #7 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti I think you made the right choice.
