Default M50 Head/S50 Intake Manifold?

Will an S50 intake manifold work on a M50 head? If so, is it worth messing with?
I know it's the hot-ticket upgrade for the S52 guys...

Default fitment

M50 = 2.5L single vanos, no?

the intake manifold you are suggesting from the S50 is the same part that is on the M50...

I've had 2.5L, 3.0L, 3.0L, 3.2L, 3.2L+ in my 318ti for years now, so i do know what works and what doesnt...

t/b is the same too for obd1 6-cylinder

the M52/S52 intake manifold has shorter runners - 'better' for more low end throttle response but lacks the peak flow numbers up top as compared to the OBD1 M50/S50 intake manifold

Yeah, m/s50 manifolds are exactly the same and same goes for m/s52 manifolds.

I thought the Euro ones are different though. Those are the ITB versions right?

correct.

I have a set of Mikuni carbs for a GSXR 1000 that I was thinking about using to make an ITB for the m44 or m42, but I've since made other plans. If anyones interested, LMK. I've seen it done on Hondas and such, but never a 318. Has anyone else ever seen this done?
