1: The roadster and coupe have the same rear - depending on model diff/springs might be different but the trailing arms/brakes are the same
2: The weight of the z3m rear on a ti? or roadster vs coupe? if roadster vs coupe - even though they are both have the same rear the coupe chassis is stiffer and that effects its handling more vs roadster, if your talking about the z3m on the ti, it is heavier then the stock ti rear - mostly due to the differential going from small to medium 168mm to 188mm IIRC ??? Also the axles are thicker and there is more weight with the z3m larger rotor/caliper/bearing. Performance on corners depends on a lot of other things also like what you got up front (brakes/engine) - and depends on what swaybar/spring rates etc you run, it can be offset, so it shouldn't matter that much for handling. - sorry its just too vague to say yes or no, but most likely for you it won't make a difference.
3. I sold my z3m rear end for 800 and that is considered on the cheaper side - you may be able to find cheaper but it is very easy to find more expensive too.
A few last notes - if you want the larger diff to hold power, going medium size with e30 axles lets you keep your ti rear. If you want larger rear brakes, you can always use e34 calipers that are larger and will bolt in as a cheap upgrade to see how that works for you. - good set of pads and rotors + SS lines and good brake fluid will make a large difference. The one large advantage the z3m trailing arms/brakes give that you can't get with larger brakes or what I have mentioned before is larger bearings.
I suggest you try e34 calipers with good pads/rotors etc to see if that satisfies your needs. No need to go that expensive right off the bat unless you have a very specific goal, or use that requires it, and have already maxed out use of stock brakes.
