Default Feeler: 1996 318ti, front ended but runs

This is not for sale YET. I got an accident last week and I still haven't decided if I should fix the car or sale it as is. Here is the deal:
1996 318ti base, 177000 miles
Transmission: Manual
Exterior color: Hellrot Red
Interior: Black, half-leather sport seats from a 99 car.
I think you guys should know what go with the car, powered windows, sunroof..etc..

Here's some nice upgrades:
- 17x7.5 20 spoke silver wheels, original BMW from E46.
- New 215/45-17 Sumitomo tires with only 4000 miles on them,I love the tires.
- "Brand new" Bilstein sport shocks, I just put them on a month ago
- "Brand new" Bavarian Autorsport lower springs. The car rides awesome, very solid.
- DEPO Projector headlights with Angel eyes, these are not the blinky kind of Taiwan made projector lamps. they look like ZKW, not the best one but very good.
- Fog lights
- Painted bumpers with side skirts
After these, car looks better than a sport model.
Here is the condition.
The goods: New belts, new front bearing, brake just installed 6 months ago, new Cat. installed last year.
The bads: Car has some oil leak, check engine light's on for months due to bad O2 sensor, airbag light on due to driver seatbelt fastener. After the accident, air-induct hose has been torn off, need to be replaced. the front grill is damaged, the radiator support is bent, radiator is tilted toward the engine but no damaged, everything is still working. I am very honest and can tell you every problem with the car, I just dont have the money to fix it.
I don't have the picture of the car after the accident, but imagine the picture bellow with the hood and the front grill damaged. Bumper and head lights are still good.

What should I get for this car? head me up an offer, I'm in So Cal. Let me know if you are interested.

well, you could probably make some money parting the car too.. I am sure there are vultres already circling.

Honestly though, that does not sound like a bad fix at all.. a grand would get that car looking good as new

+1 on fixing it
I bought my car with minor misalignment issues on the nose panel and fenders. I wish I could just buy new ones and slap 'em on

Sorry man, no parting. I just dont have the time and effort. I will either fix the car or sell it as is if the price is right.

Just curious where you got the new cat from and how much it cost? PM if you want, I have to replace mine soon. I have also heard after market cats tripping the CEL. Are you sure it's a bad O2 sensor? Did you have them replaced with the cat? Thanks in advance and good luck with the sale.

The cat is Magnaflow OBDII, you can get it at almost any muffler shop. I think it costed me slighty above $200 including labor. I had to change the cat for a smog test. After I replaced the cat, CE light went off and the car passed the test w/o a problem.

BTW, your screen name looks almost identical to mine. when I first checked this thread today, I was like "WTF, I didn't post any thing since yesterday, Why the hell my name is on here?" LOL

Thanks for the info, I may go that way. My local Midas quoted me $900 LOL. If our screen names were not similar enough, my '96 ti was red too.
