If you read the first or second sentence in the description, apparently the 318ti is a civic??? Doesnt look to bad though, if you need to replace that worn out suspension in your Civic. That is actually a very good system and has been discontinued by Bilstein. The springs are actually made by Bilstein, but unfortunately the front struts are inserts. So, for those of you with stock suspension and wanted to upgrade, this system is a great bargain and a rarity. It only lowers the car 1' front and 1.2' rear. Improved handling without sacrificing ride quality. __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | 03-03-2007, 06:15 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Fl Posts: 1,353 | Quote: Originally Posted by BobbyDigital | Good catch! Bilstein discontinued this suspension system. When you put these on it only lowers the car mildly, 1' front and 1.2' rear, similar to the M-tech suspension, but far more superior. I think they are 20mm stock vs 16mm stock Ti. Do you have it? How much? I searched in your Ebay Store and did not see one. I actually intended to use it on my Coupe (and later selling them) but ended up going with a 22mm rear sway. The M Coupe rear sway is 19mm. It is brand new and comes with new bushings and links. $120 | | | 03-23-2007, 06:20 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | Ed, can you get urethane sway bushings? | | | 03-23-2007, 07:22 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by BimmerBum The M Coupe rear sway is 19mm. I'm presently at 98k miles on the complete stock suspension and theres a bit more roll than I like but going over big bumps is about as jolting as I would like. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 03-23-2007, 07:48 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Lincoln Park Capitol Hill, Washington DC Posts: 741 | Ed, PM Sent. __________________ It's always a great day to be underwater and play with the fish.....preserve our oceans and reefs" Fariz 1997 318ti, Hellrot (Bright Red), Dinan Stage 2 Chip 16x7 OEM sport Wheels/X-Brace/Custom Strut Brace/Cold Air Intake/M-Tec Steering Wheel/Koni Adjustable FrontShocks/ Bilstein Sport Rear Shocks /H&R Sport Springs/Custom fabricated strut tower brace/Rear Strut brace, Stromung Exhaust Future Mods: E46 17" wheels or Kosei K-1 17x8.5s | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
