A lot of work recently done on it and parts put in. Good for restoration project. It's blown a head gasket. 225000 miles on it. Clean Title. Extra set of rims to change from summer to winter times. In Excellent condition for a 97 other than the head gasket. | Might be a good candidate for a lemons car, I was hoping it was avus but it's montreal blue. I talked to the owner via email and he gave me the Vin VIN: WBACG8327VKC82279 Has steel wheels with hubcaps aka base model and snows and alloys. Also said ABS is defunct. http://www.bmwarchiv.de/vin/kc82279.pdf VIN breakdown | | | 02-09-2015, 10:27 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Oct 2012 Location: IA Posts: 51 | if anyone decides to go for this, I have clean, resealed m42 w/ wiring harness & 5 speed transmission all ready to ship. I have a Montreal Blue Ti that could use an upgrade on some body panels. (fender, hatch, nose section, etc...) but i am 5hr drive away (in Philadelphia), so can't casually just run up there to inspect the body - on top of it apparently being snowed in. But if anyone else has interest in it to break, i want in, otherwise i might buy, take a few things, and send to scrapyard. | | | 02-15-2015, 11:16 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | If we didn't have so much snow I'd go look at it plus I'm still in Spain. | | | 02-15-2015, 04:22 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Quote: Originally Posted by M-technik-3 If we didn't have so much snow I'd go look at it plus I'm still in Spain. | Bring back Saffron.
