You need to look into getting it federalized for US spec. Shipping is the least of your problems. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-01-2006, 04:38 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Virginia Posts: 368 | Not to mention the right-hand-drive aspect! | | | 04-01-2006, 04:42 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Phil Marx Not to mention the right-hand-drive aspect! | Details, details. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-01-2006, 05:11 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | You would have to be 16, to come up with an idea like that. One of the UK guys was talking about how the much longer throttle cable inhibits throttle respone, among other things. __________________ -Kenny | | | 04-01-2006, 06:24 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | That and drive thrus would be a bitch. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 04-01-2006, 07:44 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Halethorpe, MD Posts: 1,028 | Quote: Originally Posted by dguzzardo22 well sh.t ... i was looking at the right hand drive aspect. but i guess i am crazy. its only 4k u.s. and very nice. | It would cost you at least $10k to have it converted to US spec.
