I got a gallon of BMW antifreeze and the thermostat/housing combo from Pelican parts for about $75 American. | | | 01-07-2011, 04:05 AM | #842 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Maryland, USA Posts: 678 | Quote: Originally Posted by jca Maybe parts are more expensive in Canada. However, one of the previous owners of the stromung was in an accident (something smacked the rear) while the stromung was installed and bent the pipe up pretty bad. The adjustment was bending the pipe to get the muffler off the bumper cover. 2mpg better now and the car runs much better with the header fixed. No more extra air throwing the O2 sensor readings off The spacers for the springs worked wonders. The car handles incredibly now. Understeer is pretty much gone, rear is stable during cornering. It actually turns __________________ No more ti. | | | 01-11-2011, 01:02 PM | #845 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Fiji Posts: 169 | Washed my 97 ti been parked for a bit looking for diff. | | | 01-11-2011, 02:17 PM | #846 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Miami, Florida Posts: 483 | I have a stock 3.45 diff if you are interested.... __________________ | | | 01-11-2011, 11:52 PM | #847 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Fiji Posts: 169 | Diff Details Quote: Originally Posted by 3.2TI I have a stock 3.45 diff if you are interested.... | Very interested. Question? 1. Would it be a problem to swap out my auto 4.44 Diff for this 3.45? 2. What's the weight of the Diff so i can calculate shipping. 3. How much will you let it go for? Your gears will be longer and this means you will probably waste less gas overall but I don't know anything else. The weight is about 80LBS I paid $90-120 for shipping these in the US. I'll let it go for $200 + shipping __________________ | | | 01-12-2011, 03:53 AM | #849 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: Tennessee Posts: 19 | I took out the old stock head unit and added a new aftermarket head unit. I changed mine to an aftermarket BOSS MP3 Player and couldn't get sound than i figured out the problem (AMP was not powered up) and the speaker connections from the car were actually high inputs to the factory amps. | | | 01-12-2011, 07:19 AM | #851 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | Drove it home in some snow with the winter tires. The car really needs some weight in the trunk. My mustangs were better in the snow. __________________ No more ti. | | | 01-12-2011, 07:25 AM | #852 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Ottawa, ON Posts: 108 | Quote: Originally Posted by familytruckster Drove it home in some snow with the winter tires. Works like a charm. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
