The seller is a mechanic at Bill Dodge BMW in Westbrook, and mounted and balanced as part of the deal. Should look awesome next winter on the Compact. | | | 07-14-2011, 01:28 AM | #1577 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | Quote: Originally Posted by jca Took the, "318ti" emblem off my 98 moreagrun base model. They remind me of the American muscle cars of the sixties and seventies that sported, "dog dish" hub caps. Way cool, in my opinion! By the way, the bottle caps can still be ordered through a dealership. | | | 07-14-2011, 04:02 AM | #1579 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | im about to order a spacer for the rear, with my Style 19's being et20 and on a 215 tire, should i get 5mm or 10mm? and should i get the extended bolts if i do the 5mm or the 10mm? let me know guys! thanks | | | 07-14-2011, 04:50 AM | #1580 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by jca I run bottle caps on clear coated silver oem steel wheels all year round. Note how the center of the wheel has a striking resemblance to a bottle cap Last edited by cooljess76; 07-14-2011 at 04:53 AM. | | | 07-14-2011, 11:09 PM | #1581 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | i lowered her just a bit, and kept looking at the home made halo's they look pretty good at night O.O,, oh yeah sorry for the crappy night phone pic it sucks and i know it __________________ Mods: 325is zender spoiler, 3" carbon fiber antenna, 5% tints rear windows, black out grills, Fogged air intake, Ds1 wheels, Rokkor coilovers, bilstein rear shocks, blacked out tails and home made angel eyes | | | 07-14-2011, 11:11 PM | #1582 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Maryland Posts: 265 | i was going to do my rear suspension, but i lost my damn socket for the wheel locks. now i have to wait for the replacement socket to get here. __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by bubela I’m happy in my blissful ignorant euphoria! They have a very slight gold-tone to the finish. Came off of a 1994 318is and were either refinished at some point or very well cared for. | | | 07-15-2011, 05:32 AM | #1584 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | If its not too much trouble I'd like to try a set of style 5s on my wife's 325... see how they fit... __________________ 96 Schwartz II 318ti M-Sport with M44 *SOLD* 95 Hellrot Red 318ti with S52 Swap (Mine) 94 Boston Green 325i Saloon with M50TU (Hers) 68 White VW Bus Camper (Parts Bus) 71 Pink VW Bus Westfalia (The fixer upper) | | | 07-15-2011, 05:35 AM | #1585 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | I might have access to some m par knock offs... __________________ 96 Schwartz II 318ti M-Sport with M44 *SOLD* 95 Hellrot Red 318ti with S52 Swap (Mine) 94 Boston Green 325i Saloon with M50TU (Hers) 68 White VW Bus Camper (Parts Bus) 71 Pink VW Bus Westfalia (The fixer upper) | | | 07-15-2011, 05:49 AM | #1586 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | bought 10 mm spacers with extended bolts from ECS tuning, picked up an X-brace, and ordered this yesterday in suede. My first attempt at installing a radio, which was a breeze thanks to the wiring harness which came with the head unit from Crutchfield's. | | | 07-16-2011, 03:11 AM | #1590 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | reinstalled the DME and battery, and fired it up. Looked at the repo in Kentucky. Bad repaint, interior completely trashed. Rust free though. Non running and they are expecting to get something like 5 grand.
