Default Crank case ventilation valve on M44 with DASC, need pics and info

Hi, I want to see how is connected the Crank case ventilation valve(PCV) with DASC on M44s, please.

I need to know too if that valve can be removed.

the valve is this:

If I leave the valve in its flange but outside the manifold, the engine would running fine? or the valve take air from the manifold?

thank you
