Default no BOV on mosselman setup ??

Can anyone confirm to me that a BOV cannot be used on a mosselman M42 turbo setup ? And why not ? I would really like to have a BOV that vents into the air !! A real head-turner

Sorry to go off topic for a sec, but where did you find the Mosselman turbo system for your car?

Went to Mosselman himself as it's only about 100miles from here, lol.

I'm from Belgium, just beneath the Netherlands so getting hold of the kit wasn't a problem

You do not want to use a BOV to Air with a speed density ECU.
BAD things can happen. The BOV needs to tie back into the down stream
side of the AFM. Other wise your engine will go VERY rich and really age the
turbocharger... Of couse the earth shattering backfiring and large flames from
the exhaust do look cool. For a while....

Good luck
Dave

Hey Dave,

Yeah, u're right. Probably I'm going to use a piggyback computer system like Apexi's SAFC-II.

I think some place down in Miami sells the Mosselman, but I think the K.O. would be a better buy especially if we can get a group buy.
