Default e46 328i brake upgrade .. just checking

I have a 96 TI ... with the life depression non vented tiny front rotors ....

i want to upp to 328i brakes in the front alone

as i understand it ... my calipers will fit fine

as long as i get the brackets for 328 ... disk for 328 and .. pads for 328 ?

i was thinking oem brembo blanks .. and HP+ for some stopping power ...

thx

You need 328 calipers as well.

I had the non vented discs and corresponding caliper too (early 98). You need the e46 328 caliper and bracket (aka carrier). If you don't get the anti rattle clip (like when I upgraded to e46 328 brakes), you can use the ones you currently have, they are the same part and number.

i can find it anymore but there was a web page that mentioned that ll e36/46 calipers .. unless they are 330 or M ... are the same

i thought that the vented disks.. had thinner pads... to fit the same caliper

in any case thx for the input

i just want end up with 300 mm vented rotors up front
