Can I fit an M52B28 into my 318ti by using all of the original 1.9 liter engine tranny parts? My plan is to buy a crashed E39 528i and swap the engine. Only trouble is manual cars are rare as rocking horse sh*t in Japan, so I need to use the flywheel, clutch, gearbox etc. from my 1.9L engine and fit it all to the 2.8 engine. Is everything interchangeable? Will the clutch hold out for long with the 2.8 engine, or can I upgrade the clutch plate and cover later on? Thanks in advance.
