OEM pads will not make any noise. When the brake pad sensor light comes on the pads are almost completely worn.
Cars that do not have a brake pad sensor use embedded pieces of metal that squeal when the pad is almost worn out, called wear indicators. Since we have the sensor, we don't need pads with metal wear indicators.

I had a smiliar problem but was pulling to the left while braking and it ended up being a frozen caliper wich i got rebuilt. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active

Sometimes you can feel one caliper hotter than the other.

one time i got my front brakes done at a "budget" shop. they didn't replace the sensor and the light remained on until i replaced it  | | | | |
