I got mine from Bavarian Autosport and they were quite a bit more. It looks like a good deal. __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 10-14-2005, 08:48 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | Compared to Bav Auto they're a steal! | | | 10-19-2005, 02:32 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Virginia Beach Posts: 48 | I just tried to order, they are not accepting any orders @ this time | | | 10-21-2005, 12:27 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Tampa Posts: 465 | to be quite honest.. they suck. I have done business with bmw bushings and they are great peple... but the bushings wore our badly. | | | 11-02-2005, 08:19 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | man, why can't there be a cheap front camber kit too? | | | 11-03-2005, 07:35 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Virginia Beach Posts: 48 | After further research, the too good to be true price for those kits are for only one wheel/side so doubling the price if you want to correct both left and right sides. So the eibach kit would actually cost more than BAV auto. | | | 11-04-2005, 10:16 PM | #10 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Bellevue, WA Posts: 5 | I have the BavAuto camber kits (re-branded K-Macks, I believe) for front and rear, and while the rears are decent, I wish that I had bought the Ground Control adjustable plates for the front. They're not much more expensive, and you can adjust them without having to put the car on an alignment rack. At some point I'm going to replace them, because I've found that with the K-Macks, the front end comes out of alignment more frequently than before I swapped the stock sport suspension for coilovers. Obviously there's more stress on the plates with the car lowered. With the GC plates, the car might come out of alignment just as easily, but at least you can re-adjust them intelligently thanks to the settings marked on the plates. | | | 05-02-2006, 12:31 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | I think these guys took my money and ran. The kit wasn't here two weeks before I left for India. I'm still here, so I don't know if they are waiting at home. Their website is gone, and they never even had a phone #, only an e-mail address; very shady. Gonna dispute the purchase through Paypal and Amex. So I guess this explains why you did not return my call last week (still in India...). | | | 05-02-2006, 03:08 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | Yeah still here in India. I am flying back Saturday. If you wanna hookup Sunday for a bit, we can talk. I asked Clex if he had the time to help me install Cruise Control, OBC and fog lights, but he doesn't have the time. Also, need to re-look at the dog bones rubbing my axles. Let me know if Sunday is good. Oh, and about the BMWBUSHINGS, they refunded me my money immediately after paying on Paypal; says they are not available. Quote: Originally Posted by J!m That sucks a$$ dude. Besides, I'm sure your girlfriend has plans for you on Sunday after being away so long... | | | 05-02-2006, 06:22 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | L8 has all the "dodgy" sellers... __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators M3 17" Wheels De-Baffled Air Box AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings Chrome Interior bits IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs Kenwood Power Series Audio Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers Sports Seats | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
