Will try and post pics with before and after soon... Worth considering... I had a leaking rear damper and snapped spring so took the plunge... __________________ BMW 318ti Sport Compact Dakar Edition TOTAL BMW Magazine - Project car #2 Mods: BB Throttle body * Gruppe-m induction * Engine re-map * AC type 3 Lightweight 17" alloys * Eisenmann exhaust 2 X 70mm pipes * Hand brake and Gear shift - Vitesse products * Black Grilles - De-Chromed! * Eibach Springs and dampers (30mm lower) * ACS S3 Dakar mirrors - Now on and looking mint! * Carbon Fibre M3 Lip * Carrying 318ti.org stickers * Coupe headlights with HIDs and Gen6 angel eyes | | | 03-16-2006, 07:39 PM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: GA-USA Posts: 14 | Where'd you find the Eibach Pro-kit springs....I've been told that Eibach doesn't offer them for the ti anymore (even though they're in the 2006 catalog)...thanks __________________ '99 318 ti Titan Silver--no mods...yet '91 M5 Jet Black | | | 03-16-2006, 08:12 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Halethorpe, MD Posts: 1,028 | Quote: Originally Posted by jm3q Where'd you find the Eibach Pro-kit springs....I've been told that Eibach doesn't offer them for the ti anymore (even though they're in the 2006 catalog)...thanks | Most of the stuff for the ti has disappeared from the US Eibach website. If you go to www.eibach.de you can still find the part numbers. I assume that the US side of Eibach get them for you. Also, for a long time www.bavauto.com had the dampers on clearance. Don't know if they have any left. | | | 03-16-2006, 08:51 PM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: GA-USA Posts: 14 | David, Thanks for the suggestion...got the German part no. info and ordered same from performancecenter.com , now I'm hoping that they ship the right stuff.. All depends what you want at the end of the day... If you are having trouble finding them. C.A. Automotive sell them too... Sorry about the external link. The photo upload doesn't seem to be working tonight. It's supposed to be lower than the Pro Kit and I've whacked my x-brace several times over the last few years. Speed bumps would be nearly impassable if my car were any lower. If you go with the Sport Line, you absolutely need the x-brace. Hope this helps. | | | 04-05-2006, 07:06 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: UK Posts: 312 | Did you have any issues with alignment/camber with your pro kit? Next on my list is springs/shocks & reinforcement plates. If I need camber adjustment, then I'll do that as well but dont want to drop another £200 if it's not necessary. | | | 04-05-2006, 07:07 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | i also have suspension on my list. maybe a uk group buy could be an option... __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
