What a way to see Paris Traffic lights are kind of optional in France. I had drivers beeping their horn at me for STOPPING at a red light last time I drove in France. They seem to just ignore them if nothing is comming. | | | 04-25-2006, 08:19 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: CG68 Posts: 280 | That happens to be one of the most critically acclaimed pieces of automotive cinematography of all time. Of course, very few people even knew it existed until the DVD was released several years back. A few of automotive magazines wrote pieces on it. If you read the article it says that the guy was unable to obtain a permit to film the piece and close streets, had a "professional Formula 1 driver" (whose identity is unknown to this day) do the driving, and upon showing the film, was arrested. Classic. If you think about it though, he achieved exactly what he was hoping for with this piece. The driver has a woman waiting for him, and he needs to see her so urgently that he throws caution to the wind, as silly and stupid as it may be. Stopping at red lights would ruin that. All other discussion aside, that Ferrari sounds AMAZING! | | | 04-25-2006, 07:56 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Has anyone seen the Nissan knock off of this video? A 350Z screams around Budapest I believe to rendezvous with a girl. Original is much better. I will try to find a link. | | | 04-25-2006, 08:44 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Golden, CO Posts: 283 | While watching that I felt like I was playing some video game. | | | 04-25-2006, 09:07 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Tacompton, WA Posts: 309 | Quote: Originally Posted by Watchmyradical While watching that I felt like I was playing some video game. | +1 i was thinking gran turismo __________________ 95 318ti Alpine white, E46 m3 front bumper, Clear Corners, Cosmo CAI, k&n filter, Flowmaster catback, front strut bars, sony 12" sub Kenwood 800watt amp & Aiwa Deck, stickers Future: Angel Eyes, Drop, Rims, and rear bumper 318ti.org sticker (added 100HP) | | | 04-25-2006, 09:48 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | all that sh*t is easy. | | | 04-25-2006, 11:00 PM | #10 | doesn't care about you.
