All the mags give them good reviews but what the hell, if I dont like them (still bedding in) I'll chuck em & try something else. I dont think the blind holes in the rotors really do that much, according to EBC Quote: The wider slot actually draws cool air across the pad surface keeping pads and rotors cooler. They also expel dust, dirt and hot gases better than fine slots which eventually fill with rust and scale and become ineffective in our opinion. The blind drilled holes break down surface gases when braking from speed but do not weaken the rotor cross section as can happen with through drilling, thereby lessening the chance of rotors cracking over time and heavy use. | whatever, they look pretty neat & my stock discs were shot after 33k!! | | | 03-31-2006, 08:43 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | my mums old saxo vts had them and my mates 200. the pads warped the disks black diamond predators now. __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 03-31-2006, 09:21 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | Well atleast they look cool. | | | 04-01-2006, 10:55 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Portugal - Lisboa Posts: 205 | The disc are good. I'm running those with EBC red stuff. They take a while to reach optimum working temperature. But when they do, the breaking power is great! __________________ Portuguese 318ti MODS: Staggered M Kontours; Mtec Side Trim with M3 badges; Mtec Steering wheel with Airbag; M3 Modified Shift Lever; M3 Leather Shift Knob, Leather Centre Arm Rest; Euro Clear turn signals; M3 Electric and Heated Side Mirrors; Cat replaced by straight pipe; Mtec Rear Bumper; E36 M3 Front Brakes with EBC Drilled and Slotted Rotors and EBC Red Stuff Pads; Vader Seats.
