That's the best GoPro view I think... On my E46 I can mount it to the underside of the moonroof (glass) and that angle comes out pretty well too.

I have some more runs with it mounted on the hood and the windshield.
The wheel view was interesting. I had no idea there was so much wheel travel.
H&R Race Springs with Koni SAs.

I mounted to the Roundel on the hood and I pulled it right off.
Super easy if you need a replacement Roundel from a nearby car.

I use an IOport roll bar mount and mount mine to the harness bar on my roll bar. The wide angle lens works out really well and you can fully see the steering wheel and out of all of the front windshield. Great little cameras, add a remote power on button to the first gen and I think they are great.

I have the I/O bar also.
I like positioning the camera further up because it makes me look like I'm going faster.

If I had a remote I'd use the bar more often.
I like seeing what my hands are doing and how often I'm shuffling needlessly.

Driving event at a local track near Montreal. I was struggling with understeer in that session (still am a little). Got better times later on that day but, Go-pro died.

Default One lap around LCMT

One lap around LCMT. Had a blast on this one. Was placed in the Pro Group, no point by.It was my second time at LCMT, still have a lot to learn about this track. Smoothness, lines and everything else can be improved by a lot.

Check the youtube channel, i'll be adding full session shortly

Default Iowa Speedway Sept 2013

Here's some video of my 332ti at Iowa Speedway--a NASCAR one-mile oval. We run two of the turns, then duck into the infield road course. We're doing about 120 mph on the banks before cutting down to the road course (NASCAR trucks lap at 125-130). Grab the pointer and take it up to about 14:30, and you'll see my black 318 pass a 600 hp supercharged Mustang (he let me by)--unless, of course, you WANT to watch a Mustang for 14+minutes.

I know you don't like my comments, but your steering input is killing me.
Maybe others who track will disagree.

I'm guessing you don't like my entry onto the banking. That's a little tricky because of the bump--too hot in, and the back end comes around. If you have a 600hp Mustang that leaps off corners, you can take it his way. What I'm trying to do here is keep my momentum up as best I can without putting too much power down and breaking the back end loose. Same on that turn off the banking onto the road course--that's 120 flat through the turn, then hard braking for a tight left. I make it a sweeper, while the Mustang cuts it tight then comes out like a rocket ship. Believe it or not, I actually set a lap record here in my class when I ran it with NASA, and was 5th fastest overall of 200 cars. On this particular day, the only cars that could catch me were that 600hp Mustang and a Boss 302 NASA track car.
