Is this something you can still order from BMW as new? If not, are the replicas that are currently out there of decent quality? If so, where's the cheapest place to grab one? I found one for about $110, no idea about the quality though | | | 03-12-2008, 04:37 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | i think you can still order it. but its gonna cost ya an arm, a leg, a kidney and possibly your first child. lol. its just expensive. $110 sounds like an awesome deal for a replica, but good luck finding an original at that price. ebay has some spoilers too... i've seen a acs spoiler replica in there somewhere. I wonder if that means painted or not? If I got the $110 one, I'd have to pay about the same amount to get it painted.. Looking at the BMW dealer here, it lists that part for $273 (I searched by part # but no info on the actual part shows up on this dealer's page...) | | | 03-12-2008, 05:05 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: North Carolina Posts: 157 | Should look like this, right? I paid about what you listed (110). | | | 03-12-2008, 05:17 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: North Carolina Posts: 157 | Have any good quality pictures of it from multiple angles? And I mean, is there a spot for the sticker, or is it just placed on there in the center? | | | 03-12-2008, 05:20 AM | #9 | Moderator Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: SoCal318ti Posts: 1,574 | Quote: Originally Posted by Ken Have any good quality pictures of it from multiple angles? (pm me)but back to the original post... i think it just comes primered or something. i couldnt imagine it'd be painted already from the dealer without another lil fee... __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit! Ken, good luck with your hunt and OEM works for me. | | | 03-12-2008, 05:41 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Too bad one of the ti owner can't let you borrow the Hartge spoiler so you can try to make a mold of it if this is what you want. BAVAUTO sells replica painted but it's $400+. You can buy a replica painted from one of the internet company for $350 or $300 last time I checked. The BMW OEM one is no longer available from what I've heard from this site. I saw the ACS one in person and not bad looking. But I really like the Reiger one for the sportier look. Saw it on a few ti in different colors and it looked sharp! My preference would be in this order. 1. Reiger 2. OEM 3. Hartge 4. ACS Don't forget there is a rear window spoiler too if you like. Check out the link for pics of the ACS and Hartge ti at BAVAUTO show. http://www.flickr.com/photos/stealth...7601069419107/ | | | 03-12-2008, 07:39 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: North Carolina Posts: 157 | BavAuto sells a replica of what? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
