White would be great too. Son got hit in the parking lot at work and doesn't have comprehensive coverage. Unfortunately, not just the cover but bent the brace and probably absorbers too. Also any suggestions on how to remove from the car? Here is what it looks like | | | 06-12-2015, 03:12 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | You've been emailing me on CL about the black interior stuff. Hi! So sorry about your son's car. I am afraid that I don't have any of those parts in my stash... Pull the black rub strips off the bumper, there are 4 bolts holding the bumper brace on to the shocks. There are about 10 8mm screws holding the under panel stuff together and the fender liners. Once removed, the bumper and brace will come off forwards together. There may be a couple of electrical connections to disconnect (fog lights, temp sensors), too.. The bumper cover is held onto the brace by multiple plastic pins. The bumper, metal brace, and the bumper shocks are all interchangeable between e36's, so a local Pick N Pull should yield those parts easily... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I have a white base bumper I swapped off my Wife's 95 Active TI the same one as you have pictured. James is right, any E36 should yield the same base bumper and I have seen a few at Pick n Pulls in Fairfield, Stockton and Sacramento. Bumper and nose piece is easy to swap. You are going to want to check the damage to the underbody panels and the airflow inserts for the cooling system, Looks like no damage, but check for any cooling system damage. Anyway take a few more pics if you need a hand to assess what part you will need. Are you Michael's buddy? Anuket... The PO had replaced the bumper brace once before with a rigid fiberglass one and it was actually broken in a couple of places. But need to find the belly pan and left front wheel well liner so I can have that all pretty much perfect. Thanks again and the interior is looking a lot better. Doing the work we discussed on the door cards and should have it all in by the end of the week. Last edited by roadrash; 06-14-2015 at 07:39 PM. Cheers! | Replacement bumper came with the pork chops, but do need a left front wheel well liner and belly pan. Fortunately the primary casualty is the bumper brace and cover, but also need to replace the nose portion of the front clip and (not due to this accident) but also want to replace the radiator core support. That will help with some body panel and headlight alignment issues. Yes that is me! Michael's buddy.
