Rear lights won't always go off

Hi everyone. So when I turn off my headlights, the rear lights won't go off at first attempt, so I have to turn on and turn off the switch for 10 or 20 times before rear lights go off. How do I know what's wrong and how do I fix this? Thanks a lot. Sorry for my english, it's not my first language. Thanks.

Is it the brake lights or parking lights?

Sounds like a problem with the switch. I'd try to find another switch to try out.
