Default FOR SALE 1998 318ti HELLROT OVER BLACK SPORT/ACTIVE

Group,

I'll give this list first right of refusal as I'm a member here and love this group. I have over 125 pictures on this page:

http://www.inlacal.com/318ti

I'll offer it to the list for $9500. I'm going to ask for more on Ebay. It will list on Ebay later today.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Chris

P.S. Here's a teaser-picture...

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

His car. He can ask whatever he wants for it.
Besides, west coast cars can get more money than other parts of the country.
I don't think BMW has used Henna Red since the E30 M3.
Isn't that Bright Red? or Hellrot?

Which is it a sport or an active? I can clearly tell it's a sport but why list sport/active?

By reading the description, it is an Active with M-Technic trim and fog lights.

No expense was spared in adding the 'Sport-Package' appearance to the existing Active-Package (you could not get both from the factory).
But that is not true. I had a 98 Sport with OBC and Cruise as options.

Steven: You're right...It is Hellrot (not Henna...stupid typo...I even took a picture of the paint sticker/code under the hood!) and it is an Active with M Technic trim and fog lights...I was under the impression you couldn't order both Sport & Active.

You can spec out the car pretty much anyway you want.
Knowing enough people you could even have the factory install M3 brakes.
Don't mean to hijack your thread.
Just want your ad to read correctly.
Thread title corrected.

You're right...At the end of the day it comes down to money. Obviously the 'individual' program in Europe will let you design just about whatever you'd like. A friend of mine who picked up his 1995 M3, in Munich, under the Euro-Delivery Program continues to spin yarn about the M3ti he saw in the showroom waiting to be picked up by its new owner.

Recently, after the dealer objecting repeatedly, the finally agreed to paint my 2006 3.0 X5 Imola Red...This color only comes on the 4.6is/4.8is. They refused and refused and refused...Until they gave me $2,500 as the only reason they could think of to paint it that color. I caved. They painted This after objecting, continuously, to my request for a 6 speed manual which, by the way, is the listed 'stock' transmission for the X5. They just didn't want to cooperate initially, but ended up doing so.

I just wish we could get the individual program here as well as the 1 series

Chris
