Hey guys, I'm new here. My ti isn't anything new but I thought I'd post pics anyways. I'm really happy with the car- seems to be just about everything I want. Got her for 7200 with 75k miles. Shes a '97 and looks great inside and out. Cheers! -Andy | | | 05-26-2007, 04:44 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | congrats on the buy | | | 05-26-2007, 04:53 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Damascus, Maryland Posts: 434 | Thanks a lot. I'm still young and don't have a very steady source of income, so the mods I do, if any, won't be happening in the near future. But- I do have some things in mind. My first order of business is going to be changing out the amber to clear on all sides. That along with euroglass headlights/lenses are a must. After I replenish the bank from that, I was thinking of looking at the smaller things. I think thats what I love so much about BMW cars- their attention to detail. All of the MSport badges that are worn/faded are getting replaced- along with the front, rear, and steering wheel BMW roundel badges. I plan on- eventually- upgrading the sound system. Nothing big and overly bassy, but something with a little more kick than the stock one. Another thing that I was thinking about changing out was the shift knob/boot and possibly buying a new OEM steering wheel- the current one shows a bit of wear and tear. Honestly, I'm not big on modding the $#%& out of my car and making its BMW roots barely identifiable. I'm more into the 'sleeper' kind of car. Looks stock, just kicks more ass. I know these are, for the most part, purely cosmetic alterations, so if anyone has some wise words for modest performance enhancements- go for it- its greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone again for stopping by and leaving advice. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
