I was on my way to my eye appointment and I was stopped on the line at a red light when I see this Toyota Celica and a Cougar going really fast toward me. The Cougar pulls next to me and the Celica was to the right of of the Cougar. So I was sitting there thinking wtf is up with these 2, when I see both drivers and blonde bimbos acting like morons shouting and laughing and blasting their music. The road ahead was clear and in my head I was thinking...they probably can haul more arse then me so im not going to try it. Well then I had this feeling I could take them. So I inch forward, then they inch forward about 3 feet. I knew they were going to race eachother, they didnt give me a second thought. The moment the light turned green we all floor it and to my amazement I am flying past them, the Cougar was a car and a half behind me keeping about the same distance the whole way, and the celica was a little further then the tail of my car and I was still going faster. After hitting 80mph I backed down in fear of a cop up ahead. Sure enough they flew by me going at least 85-90. So that 100% confirmed they were trying to take me. The Celica must have felt she won because she put her hazzards on afterwards with her arms in the air. I was thinking she better not think she just won because I just killed her. I didnt think much of them but I was shaking with excitement. I couldnt believe my baby took 2 cars that I thought would be faster then my stock 1.8. I was literally crying and stroking my steering wheel saying great job baby, you did it be proud. I am such a loser but you have no idea how happy and proud of my car I was! x100 I dont know the years so here are what the cars were...incase anyone was thinking the older versions..the only difference were they were badly riced out.. __________________ my new world | | | 02-09-2006, 06:30 AM | #2 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | lol ... too funny. hazards and arms raised ... tht's a new one __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 02-09-2006, 06:34 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: MN Posts: 155 | YES!!!!! Would it happen the same if it was 2 guys acting like thos two blonde bimbos? | | | 02-09-2006, 11:14 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmwracerchick Ok.. | i thought everone here was not in favor of street racing but i am so great job. Did the same thing, i slowed down after taking him, and he passed me by fast nearly crashing into another car. Good Job. With my car, i beat my friends V6 eclipse, i was like woah this little car is quick. | | | 02-09-2006, 02:59 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | Quote: Originally Posted by angel318ti was it because they wanted to race or was it the fact that they were women that pushed you? A guy usually plays it cool not acting like morons and jumping around in their car. __________________ my new world | | | 02-09-2006, 05:59 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | were they hot? did you hook up? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 02-09-2006, 06:04 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Thats pretty cool but were you really surprised? They were in crappy cars and you were in a bimmer. Even if they killed you off the line you still would be considered a winner because of that fact. | | | 02-10-2006, 05:56 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | lol yes 96 cali I love bleached blondes omg such a turn on...and that 5,000 pounds of make up wow phew how did you guess I was into girls like that lol SDKmann: True, but I do know that the celica had a bigger engine. I think the reason why the cougar did so crappy is because I noticed that at the line she was driving a stick...I think she doesnt know how to handle sticks in all aspects very well lol __________________ my new world | | | 02-10-2006, 06:07 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | too funny. nice job __________________ | | | 02-10-2006, 07:26 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Virginia Posts: 247 | I'm sure they thought they had won after passing you...most idiots don't realize that there has to be some limit in races like that... 80 is bad enough, but 100 is just insane. There are two flavors of heads though, with the GTS being the bigger one. It boosted a meager 180hp. Honestly, I'm not sure my TI could have taken my GTS Celica with the 6-speed. __________________ SOLD!!! 1999 332ti //M Sport Titanium Silver M3 S52 3.2 I-6 Engine, M3 Clutch w/ ti Getrag Trans, Z3 3.15 LSD medium case diff and half shafts, OEM Hatch Spoiler, Eurosport HP Underdrive Pulleys, FDM, 17" DS1 rims, M3 Front Struts & Springs, M3 Instrument Cluster, 3-spoke //M steering wheel with tri-color stitching, SSK, CCFL Angels in Depo projectors with 5k HIDs | | | 02-11-2006, 12:26 AM | #15 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | You said you were going to the eye doctors right?
