Kansas is the geographic center of the US, but VA is closer to more people. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-12-2006, 07:43 AM | #116 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti It is central to most people. Yea the center of the east coast would also be in the middle which u say its kansas. | | | 08-12-2006, 08:12 AM | #117 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Weymouth, MA Posts: 215 | I think there should be two meetings. One for East cost and one for West coast. I don't see myself driving to CA, or the guys from CA comming to DC for example. | | | 08-12-2006, 12:22 PM | #118 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996Bmw318TI so us in the west coast must suffer an extra 2 days worths of driving and expenses and you guys drive just 15 hours. It's probably best to tag along with a local BMW CCA chapter at one of their events or help then arrange their event. Say a BBQ or picnic in a park. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-30-2006, 06:13 AM | #119 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Hey kind of bringing up a semi-old topic, but is there going to be a semi-national meet? I would be good to go near anywhere in the mid-west or east coast. I love Steven's idea of tagging along with a local BMW CCA chapter. Possibly attend a BMWCCA autocross on a sunday or do a DE weekend. Hope to see you all some time this summer coming summer. | | | 08-30-2006, 07:55 PM | #120 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | According to some page offa google... "The geographical center of the lower 48 states lies outside of Lebanon, Kansas, in the middle of a hog farm." I don't want to go to kansas.... Toto can have it...
