Default Right Rear Shock Tower Failure

The right rear shock tower on my ti has rusted and cracked. I initially had it fixed by someone who just welded it back together without any reinforcement. I see there is kit for the other E36 models but can not find one for the ti. Does anyone know of something similar for the ti? Any other suggestions are welcome.
